Pancho Villa Moto Tours’ March 26th 2004 Copper River Canyon Expedition

This is a quick write-up of an expedition ride I just went on in Mexico .  My experience is that if I try to do a good job on these then I don’t finish, so here goes the quick version.

My Dad (Ed) and I signed up for the Pancho Villa Moto Tours Copper River Canyon Expedition ride as a father-son trip.  It’s an 8 day on and off-road motorcycle ride starting in El Paso Texas and visiting the Copper River Canyon in Mexico .  There were 3 other clients on the trip: Bob, Jay, and Rene, who all turned out to be great guys and made the trip a lot of fun.  Most of the riding was on road, and a few hundred miles were off-road.  It was a great adventure and a great way to see Mexico .

Here’s the group picture taken at the end of the trip in the storage lot where we returned the bikes.

At the end of the trip: Jay, Alfonso, Ryan, Bob, Rene, and Ed

What a great bunch of guys and what a great time.  Can’t wait to go again next year!  There was a lot of talk about a Baja ride, and that’s sounding better and better the more I think about it.
